ROLLING STONE BEACH + RS article + “You Carry Me” video

Hey gang!
We’re two shows down on our European tour. Thank you Ramblin’ Roots Fest in Utrecht and Leiden! We’re also happy to announce that we’ll be part of this year’s Rolling Stone Beach Festival, put on by Rolling Stone Germany. All upcoming dates with ticket links are further down this newsletter.

RS writer Maik Brueggemeyer wrote a really nice article on why he’s looking forward to our performance at the fest. He described our upcoming album Donlands perfectly (“one surreal dream in which Roy Orbison pours out his heart to a few lost film noir characters in the bar of the Heartbreak Hotel.”) Read full article:

Reviews for the new album Donlands have started coming in, including 8/10 in Uncut, 4-stars in Rolling Stone, Alt Country NL, Sounds&Books out of Hamburg said it’s “an album for the top positions on a year-end list.”

Our new album Donlands is out this Friday and we’ve just released a 3rd single “You Carry Me” (stream on your preferred platform: https://eek.lnk.to/JLYCM). Thanks to Americana Highways for premiering the brand new video created by Joshua Parrett. You gotta watch this, it’s kind of a rock ‘n’ roll pop art video that goes perfectly with the tune. I chatted with Hannah Campton at Building Our Own Nashville to talk about the new album and my career in general.
