Hey Folks!
Very happy that my new album Nothing Pressing is officially out today on Vinyl, CD and Digitally. Produced by Michael Timmins of Cowboy Junkies and released on their label Latent Recordings (distributed by Warner Music Canada/Proper Music Group). Featuring Dan Mock, Kyle Sullivan with Tim Bovaconti and Angie Hilts. Order/save here: https://ffm.to/jerrylegernp

In light of everything the past couple of years, I feel so fortunate to have been able to make and release this album. We’re excited to tour the record in Europe and the UK this fall and for our hometown release show March 31st here in Toronto at Paradise Theatre. I’ve added some acoustic duo shows (with Dan Mock on upright) April 1st in Bracebridge and some dates in Eastern Canada. Check those out at the bottom of the page.
Many thanks to Brad Wheeler for the kind words on the album in The Globe and Mail:
“Jerry Leger’s Nothing Pressing: Toronto-based Americana singer-songwriter Jerry Leger has a strong following in Europe, but only exists on the fringes in his home country. His new album is representative of his strengths: These are the worn-in songs and poetic melancholia of a welcome stranger, with a laconic style that lives somewhere between Blue Rodeo and Lucinda Williams. Leger writes lines such as, “Grabbed my favourite flashlight and shot a question into the night,” that will stop your mind for a second or two. His mild misery makes for sunset music and great company.”
