HOMETOWN ALBUM RELEASE SHOW ANNOUNCED + ROLLING STONE FEATURE + MORE SHOW DATES

Hey gang,
Jerry here,
How are ya?

We’re thrilled to announce our first full band indoor show in 2+ years will take place Thursday March 31st at Paradise Theatre in Toronto. It’s a hometown celebration for the new album Nothing Pressing (pre-order/save). It sure would be great to see you out, it means the world to us. We’ve all been missing live music.
The show is being presented by the great folks at Hugh’s Room.
Tickets are now on sale:https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/hughs-room-for-the-performing-arts-inc/events/jerry-leger-album-release/

The following night, April 1st, I’ll be playing an intimate show at Bracebridge Hall in Bracebridge, ON. Joining me will be Dan Mock on upright bass and vocals. Tickets can be purchased here: https://www.bbhall.ca/event/jerry-leger/#tribe-tickets

Here’s a cool thing, I was talking with Maik Bruggemeyer at Rolling Stone Germany about the new record, my career and how I’ve been getting through the pandemic. Well, it ended up being a 4-page feature in the March issue of Rolling Stone Germany. For our supporters in Germany, you can pick up the issue now.

I was also asked about some of the albums I was listening to during the last couple of years. They let me choose five:
1. Bob Dylan – Rough & Rowdy Ways
2. Richard & Linda Thompson – Hokey Pokey
3. Matthew Sweet – 100% (a rediscovery, initially got this album when I was a kid, the year it came out)
4. Ron Hynes – Ron Hynes
5. Neil Young – Homegrown

If you’re in Toronto, Calgary or Vancouver, pick up a copy of Next Magazine and read some kind words for Nothing Pressing in their review section!

For our fans and friends in Europe, would like to let you know that we’ve changed venues for our show in Nottingham, England, May 6th. We will now be playing at The Chapel at Angel Microbrewery. I believe ticketlink is the same and previous tickets will be honoured.

Also, we had to switch a couple dates around in Spain. We will now be playing Hondarribia May 13th at Psilocybenea and Madrid May14th at Fun House (venue change).

Visit http://jerryleger.com/tour/ for full schedule of dates so far.

Lastly, if you’re a podcast person or just like listening to interviews with musicians, check out One More Tune with host, Ian Byrne. I had the pleasure of being a guest recently.
