Hey folks, I'll be doing an opening set for Doug Paisley and Jenny Whiteley tomorrow night at The Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto. I'll be joined by James McKie on fiddle and Dan Mock on upright bass. Doors at 9pm and we're on a little after that. Saturday night, I'll be found at The Red Garnet. I'll be playing tunes with Andrew Barker of Bruce Peninsula on lap steel. Doors are at 10pm for that show. Check out the TOUR page for more info. Have a grand weekend!

Recently did this Q and A with a friend of mine, Cam. Take a look…also note a clarification, I meant that I have been listening to Tom Paxton's first lp ("Ramblin Boy") AND "How Come the Sun". Both are worth checking out.
Happy to be alongside Daniel Romano (who also designed 'Early Riser'), Doug Paisley, Lindi Ortega, John Borra and Al Tuck in this great article written by Mike Sauve for Brooklyn, NY's Alt Citizen. Read it here: http://altcitizen.com/some-of-the-best-americana-music-actually-comes-from-canada/
Visit the MERCH page to order 'Early Riser' on glorious long playing Vinyl and while you're there, order an 'Early Riser' t-shirt! Order now and we'll throw in a cool 'Early Riser' button!
Were happy to be on our way to play at This Ain't Hollywood in Hamilton tonight. Doors are at 9 and only $6 to get in. We have some pals opening the show, Ben Somer and Dan Edmonds(of Harlan Pepper).
Tomorrow, we'll be at The Dakota Tavern in Toronto to play an early show. We have very special guests, Josiah Johnson(of Sub Pop's The Head and the Heart) & Carleigh Aikins(who sings on the new lp, 'Early Riser'). It's also special for two reasons, it's their 1st Toronto show as a duo and it's our last 'Situation' full band show til the fall. Hope to see you there! Doors are at 7pm and only $5 to get yourself in!
Had a fun time out East, saw some familiar faces and saw some new ones too. Now I'm back in Toronto but gearing up for Barrie this Friday night at The Clarkson Pub and Saturday night at The Brownstone in Orillia. Both dates will be with the band. Check out the TOUR page for more info.

Our hometown release show for Early Riser is this week, Thursday May 1st at
The Horseshoe Tavern. We have some friends helping out, The Pinecones and Alanna Gurr.
Come out and celebrate with us.
Brad Wheeler had this to say in the Saturday edition of The Globe & Mail:
"Early Riser offers 10 drawling, sharply imagined songs…his voice would ring true
in any number of decades; the 2010's will do just fine."
Pick up a copy on Thursday or if you can't make it to the Toronto release, order Early Riser here: http://latentrecordings.com/jerryleger/music/
