Thanks UK/Europe! Another “JL sings Hank” this Sat, May 10 in T.O. + Kingston, ON show announced + Double bills with Lori Yates coming up in Hamilton/Guelph
Well, that was a very very pleasant and successful solo tour! 13 shows in England, 2 in Scotland, 6 in Germany and 2 in The Netherlands. Thanks to all the folks who came out to the shows, the promoters, the venues, my buddy Byron (for driving) and my partner, Katie. We sold a lot of merch, including nearly all the tour shirts and TONS of the limited edition Lucky Streak CD (which is still available to order from the Bandcamp store).
FIRST SHOW BACK! JL sings HANK WILLIAMS at IMPERIAL PUB, Toronto
I’m excited that my first show back home in Toronto will be another JL sings Hank Williams performance. I’ll be joined by my buddy Tim Bovaconti on lap steel/mandolin at the historic Imperial Pub (where we filmed the video for “Three Hours Ahead Of Midnight”), Saturday, May 10th. The pub is very close to Mutual St. where Hank played the Mutual Arena in 1952. Did he stop by The Imperial for a beer or two? Not many of these old classic bars left in Toronto, and this one is definitely my favourite.
Doors are 8pm, show starts at 9pm (two sets!) and $20 at the door.

I’ll be playing a couple of double bill shows with the great Lori Yates.First up will be May 22nd in Hamilton at Mills Hardware: TICKETS and then the night after in Guelph at Sonic Hall: TICKETS
