It’s also available for download on iTunes or Bandcamp or if to stream on Spotify and other streaming services.

There have been some rumors that I might be touring overseas in the New Year, maybe they’re true, I don’t know. Anyway, it’s nice that the new LP is getting some nice things said about it.
Thanks to Johnny Wilhelmsen in Norway for listing ‘Nonsense and Heartache’ as one of the best records of the year:
and John Gjaltema in the Netherlands for giving it 4 out of 5:
‘Some Folks Know’, my 6th studio release came out 5 years ago today. Featuring contributions from Ron Sexsmith, Serena Ryder (including the duet, “All Over Again”), album producer Tim Bovaconti and of course my band, The Situation (James McKie, Dan Mock, Kyle Sullivan). Most of it was recorded at my buddy and fellow singer-songwriter, Ben Somer’s studio, Boxcar Sound Recording in Hamilton, ON. The album was met with rave reviews and a successful release show at the beautiful Great Hall in Toronto.

Join us as we drop by Donaleigh’s in Barrie for a special performance presented by Inside The Music. Show start at 7 with a opening set by Jason McCoy of the Roadhammers. Cover is only $10 at the door.
This will also act as an after party for a music summit Staying in Tune happening earlier in the day from 1-5 at the Macy Centre for the Performing Arts. Participants will have the opportunity to pose questions and engage in topics of interest with representatives from Music Canada, Toronto Musicians Association, Baird Artist Management, Ontario Media Development Corporation and more, with a fun “speed dating” approach involving 20 minutes for discussion and switching to a new table. I’ll also be participating in this.
Hope to see you in Barrie and check out the TOUR page for other upcoming dates.
